INTERMEDIATE DRUMMING for ages 9+

With Angel Lau

In this engaging intermediate drumming class, students will explore exciting rhythms from Afro Peruvian, Afro Cuban, Brazilian, and African musical traditions. Building on existing skills, participants will learn new beats and how to collaborate in a group setting. The class will also introduce the cultural stories behind each drumming style. By the end, students will gain confidence in performing as part of a drumming ensemble. This class is ideal for drummers eager to enhance their skills and explore diverse musical traditions.

Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm

$280 for the full session + $10 performance fee = $290 total cost

*This class is open to students who have completed two or more semesters of Beginners Drumming or have other drumming experience.

**Please note that this year for classes performing in the Spring Celebration, Pulse is implementing a $10 per-class performance fee upon registration. Tuition Assistance recipients will pay a reduced per-class performance fee; Pulse staff will reach out to you about this upon registration.
