REWRITING RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR FEMALE BODY for ages 18+

With Erica Rodas

Month 1: Celebrating your Wild Feminine.
Understanding the ‘pelvic floor’ and how people of all genders have one; what it means to connect to our pelvic space; how our creativity and vitality is connected to this space. Identifying common challenges or health concerns that relate to this part of our bodies. Embodied practice: non-linear movement or dance, Holistic Pelvic Care™ visualization.

Month 2: The physical + energetic landscape of our pelvis.
Understanding the anatomy of the pelvic bowl; how our physical and emotional experiences translate to tension or stagnation within this space. Introducing pelvic mapping for self/home practice. Embodied practice: skeletal and muscular 101, Holistic Pelvic Care™ visualization and breath.

Month 3: Our cyclical bodies.
Understanding the phases or ‘seasons’ of our hormonal cycle and the physiological, emotional, and creative shifts we may see in each. Reviewing tangible ways to support our bodies in each season through movement, food, rest and play. Embodied practice: Holistic Pelvic Energy™ and visualization.

Month 4: Radically reframing menstruation.
Identifying how we have known or learned about our menstruation, and the feelings it brings up in us. Understanding the role of our cervix. How to work with our bodies to support release. New ways and rituals to engage with this time. Embodied practice: somatic sequence including movement, sound and breath during menstruation.

Month 5: Pleasure + intimacy.
Exploring blocks or challenges with intimacy (e.g. shame, stress, numbness or pain, people-pleasing or performance). How to create space for pleasure and intimacy through safety, communication and presence. Embodied practice: tuning into the senses, anchoring practices, and your body’s ‘yes’ and ‘no.’

Month 6: The creative cycle.
Understanding where you are in your creative cycle, as it relates to a particular project or desire, or within the whole of your life. Seeing your body as an ally in your creativity, not a burden. Learning how to work with creative flow and blocks through Holistic Pelvic Energy™ techniques.

Every Second Monday of the Month: Jan 9, Feb 13, Mar 13, Apr 10, May 8, and June 12
