What is a Thai massage?

Thai massage combines compression, massaging along energy lines, and assisted stretching.  Slow, gentle rocking movements, compression with thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet help to open the body and restore a healthy flow of energy.  This comprehensive massage is very nurturing, and simultaneously relaxing and energizing.  It helps to increase the range of motion in your joints and muscles and results in a reduction of pain and stress.  This graceful form is performed on a mat on the floor.  Wear comfortable clothing.

What is Thai Foot Reflexology?

Thai Foot Reflexology is a deeply relaxing foot treatment that uses compression, massage, and reflexology techniques.  It works the musculature of the foot as well as treats reflex points that correspond to organs and systems of the body.  As we are on our feet a lot of the time, this is often an overlooked part of the body that could use some extra love and care.  The health of our backs, hips, and knees all relate to the health of the feet.  A massage stick is used to stimulate reflexology points corresponding to areas of the body that need strengthening and support such as low back, digestion, heart and lungs, etc. for better chemical balancing.  Thai foot reflexology was greatly influenced by its neighbors China and India and has been practiced for thousands of years.
