West African Dance Workshop with Tara Murphy

Open to all levels, ages 14+

This dance will get your blood pumping and your heart soaring….feel the rhythms and shake what you got! Participants will learn the basic styles of West African dance as well as traditional dances from Mali or Guinea, West Africa. This class emphasizes community, self-expression and the joy of movement. We will let our spirits fly!
BEGINNER/OPEN LEVEL for ages 14+—with live drumming!
- Please bring a water bottle, mask, and clothes comfortable to dance in.
- Arrive 15 minutes before the start of class for check in.
- Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, with 10 spots available through Berkshire Pulse.
- To pay with a Berkshire Pulse class pass, please select “Cash on Delivery” at checkout

PLEASE NOTE
In accordance with Simon’s Rock policies, all participants are required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. If you have not yet provided Pulse with proof of vaccination, please email us with a photo of your vaccination record.
