PROGRESSING BALLET TECHNIQUE, for intermediate/advanced level dancers ages 14+
With Micheline Weiler

The Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program, developed specifically to accelerate the technique of dancers, when used alongside ballet training. One of the important elements used in the PBT method is muscle memory, which helps to improve students’ understanding of core stability, weight placement, and alignment. The exercises are built around the concept of removing the floor and setting up the proprioception in the mind and body, ready for the classroom, with the use of a variety of exercise balls and resistance bands. Each exercise correlates directly with the development of the dancers’ technical ability, for their implementation into the ballet curriculum. Additional equipment is required for this program. Visit https://pbt.dance/home/equipment and purchase the first three items listed (exercise ball, fusion ball, resistance band.)
