Emily Hildebrand

Teaching Artist, Ballet Advisor

Prior to her seasoned career, Emily Hildebrand received scholarships to study at various national and international institutions. As a student she had the pleasure of performing with the New York City Ballet under the direction of George Balanchine. 
Her professional performance career spanning over 25 years includes corps work, soloist, and principal roles with companies along the eastern seaboard and in the south. 
Mid career, she received her pedagogical certification from the School of the Hartford Ballet, where she was presented a monetary award for high academics from the only recognized Vaganova accredited teaching institution outside the USSR.  Since this time she has held Master Classes, workshops, worked as a commissioned choreographer, coached successful competitively placed students, enhanced the growth of dance programs in colleges, universities, companies, schools, and community centers.  Her experience as a choreographer includes full length ballets as well as the staging of many of the classics. She resides in the Hudson Valley and is looking forward to working with the students and faculty of Berkshire Pulse.
