Adaptive Dance Program

With deep respect for the journey of the neurodiverse child, we offer group classes that develop skills in communication, behavioral skills management, and social/emotional interactions. This work supports the development of muscle strength, trunk stability, balance, breath, and impulse control. Classes will explore body parts, spatial relationships, and basic dance elements relating to time, rhythm, flow, and breath.

We recognize that age ranges can be restrictive in the adaptive dance community. If you have questions about the best placement for your child, regardless of age, please reach out.

Monday – Youth Adaptive Dance

Students begin to build communication, social, and self-regulation skills through creative movement and dance. Elements of rhythm, creative story play and tumbling are woven into the dance curriculum. Classes focus on body awareness, balance, coordination, rhythm, and spatial relationships while encouraging confidence, cooperation, and joyful participation.
