Rentals and Artist Residencies
The Pulse Studios are a creative home to movers, makers, and earth-shakers throughout the Berkshires (and beyond). Nestled alongside the Housatonic River in a beautifully reimagined mill space, our facilities feature:
- 3 spacious, state-of-the-art studio spaces equipped with speaker systems, air conditioning, and a sprung floor (Studio A: 40’ x 30’, Studio B: 33’ x 44’, Studio C: 33’ x 30’)
- A dedicated music room with excellent acoustic capabilities
- 2 changing rooms and bathrooms on site
- Spaces to gather and eat, lounge, and rest between events

Artist Residencies
Interested in applying for a Residency at Pulse? The Berkshire Pulse Residency gives emerging and local dance artists space to work on their personal artistic projects in Berkshire Pulse’s state-of-the-art studios.
Artists-in-residence at Pulse have the opportunity to join our community to use the studios on an exchange basis. Pending studio availability and application approval, artists can receive studio time at a discounted rate (or free of charge) in exchange for teaching classes, conducting workshops, presenting in-studio performances or Q&A, or other types of studio work. Artists can also request additional dancers or other Pulse resources, as available. We welcome projects in any stage and wish to support artists who are working towards a performance and artists who have an emphasis on process and experimentation. We look forward to having you create and share in our space!
