Our Space
It is with gratitude and humility that we acknowledge that we are learning, creating, and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Muhheaconneok people, who are the indigenous peoples of the land upon which Berkshire Pulse sits. Despite the tremendous hardship of being forced from their land, today their community resides in Wisconsin and is known as the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors past and present as we dedicate our resources and privileges to building a more inclusive, equitable, and respectful space for all.
The Pulse Studios are a creative home to movers, makers, and earth-shakers throughout the Berkshires (and beyond). Nestled alongside the Housatonic River in a beautifully reimagined mill space, our facilities feature:
- 3 spacious, state-of-the-art studio spaces equipped with speaker systems, air conditioning, and a sprung floor (Studio A: 40’ x 30’, Studio B: 33’ x 44’, Studio C: 33’ x 30’)
- A dedicated music room with excellent acoustic capabilities
- 2 changing rooms and bathrooms on site
- Spaces for students to gather and do homework

Interested in applying for a Residency at Pulse? The Berkshire Pulse Residency gives emerging and local dance artists space to work on their personal artistic projects in Berkshire Pulse’s state-of-the-art studios.
*It took a community to build these studios and we want to extend our gratitude to every person and organization who helped bring this space to life. Many thanks to Clark and Green, the architects who designed these studios as a contemporary restoration and reimagining of a historic mill along the Housatonic River.

Los estudios de Pulse son un hogar creativo para los motores, los creadores y los que hacen temblar la tierra en los Berkshires (y más allá). Ubicado junto al río Housatonic en un espacio de molino bellamente rediseñado, nuestras instalaciones cuentan con:
- 3 amplios espacios de estudio de última generación equipados con sistemas de altavoces, aire acondicionado y piso flotante (Estudio A: 40′ x 30′, Estudio B: 33′ x 44′, Estudio C: 33′ x 30′)
- Una sala de música dedicada con excelentes capacidades acústicas
- 2 vestuarios y 2 baños
- Espacios para que los estudiantes se reúnan y hagan la tarea
