COMMUNITY MODERN – Intermediate+, for ages 14-adult
With Bettina Montano
Drawing from a variety of modern dance traditions and techniques, this class emphasizes classwork which develops strength, alignment, agility, musicality and versatility of expression. Classes begin with structured improvisation and floor-work, progressing to dynamic and lively phrases in center and traveling across the floor.
Thursdays 6:15-7:45pm
Begins January 18, no class April 18, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30
Intermediate+ – Classes marked Intermediate+ are for anyone with previous movement experience in the specific dance style of the class and will serve Intermediate to Advanced movers.
