Ricardo Paz is a Portuguese acrobat, performer, and actor specializing in chinese pole acrobatics and contemporary acro-dance. He studied in CNAC- Centre National des Arts du Cirque, the Superior Consevatory of Circus Arts in Chalons-en-Champagne, France. Ricardo has worked with many directors such as As Palavras form Claudio Bernardo (Bruxelles), Séverine Chavrier in Avignon Festival, Yves-Noel Genod who invited him to play Hamlet-Unlimited (In ARTDANTHÉ Festival, Paris).  He played the solo Performance Légion by Jean-Luc Verna (Danse Danse Festival 2018 at Le Point Ephémère, Paris). He collaborated with Nelly Koster in the International Youth Refugees Art Program Europefiction 2019 as a workshop leader teaching acrobatics, partnering, and improvisation techniques in Consol Theater, Germany. Ricardo has created many of his own works on Chinese Pole, performing in a variety of venues from international theaters to television show such as Tu Si Que Vales and Portugal’s Got Talent, and was awarded a prize in the Vegas Arts Film Festival 2017 for Best Art Film and Best Performance for his chinese pole solo, The Boat.
