Madison Palffy

In-School Teaching Artist

Madison Palffy is a performer, dance-maker, and visual artist based in western Massachusetts. She holds an MFA in Dance and Choreography from University of Colorado, Boulder. Her work is driven by a sense of experimentation and artistic cross-pollination and has taken the form of films, installations, and evening length performances shown both nationally and internationally. Madison began training in Street Dance styles at CU Boulder with Rennie Harris and has traveled the country continuing to learn from hip hop and house elders. She is a founding member of LOCULUS, a dance and performance collective that creates performances in non-traditional spaces and produces an experimental dance journal. As a performer and collaborating artist she has had the pleasure of working with artists such as Anya Cloud, Chris Aiken, Angie Hauser, Kathleen Hermesdorf, Paul Matteson, Wendy Woodson, and Lailye Weidman (among others).
