LATIN DANCE/DANZA LATINA for ages 5-10

Practicamos ballet con la técnica vaganova y también la metodología cubana de ballet. Hacemos Acro-dance con música latina. Discutimos y practicamos diferentes danzas latinas como por ejemplo mambo, cumbia, samba, y más. Y nuestra última parte es el folklore Maya centroamericano (danzas tradicionales de los mayas en Centroamérica y algunos lugares de Sudamérica) folklore Mexicano como el jarabe Tapatio. Incluimos las danzas españolas como el flamenco y rumba flamenca.

We practice ballet with the vaganova technique and also the Cuban ballet methodology. We do acro-dance with Latin music. We discuss and practice different Latin dances such as mambo, cumbia, samba, and more. And our last part is the Central American Mayan folklore (traditional dances of the Mayans in Central America and some places in South America) Mexican folklore such as Jarabe Tapatio. We include Spanish dances such as flamenco and rumba flamenca.

$340 for the full session + $10 performance fee = $350 total cost

*Please note that this year for classes performing in the Spring Celebration, Pulse is implementing a $10 per-class performance fee upon registration. Tuition Assistance recipients will pay a reduced per-class performance fee; Pulse staff will reach out to you about this upon registration.
