COMMUNITY MODERN – Absolute Beginners, for adults, teens 14+ welcome
With Bettina Montano
This gentle dance class is based on breath, flow, rhythm and release. Drawing on various expressions and techniques of modern dance, classwork includes opening with structured improvisation and warm-up exercises in center*, which move into a more generous, joyful and dynamic use of space.
*Classwork may include floor work, depending on group age range and level.
Mondays 5:00 – 6:15 PM
January 12 – May 18
(No class January 19, February 16, April 20, and May 25)
Absolute Beginners – Classes marked Absolute Beginners are open to anyone curious and willing to try new movement practices. No prior movement experience is required.
Register for the class by adding to cart and checking out (be sure to update your account details). Pay for this class with Class Passes. Purchase Class Passes 4 for $75, 10 for $180, or 20 for $330. Single drop-ins $20 each (only available for purchase in-person at our Front Desk).
