JAZZ 2-3 for ages 11+
With Teak Welch, Mackenzie Wolcott assisting
Jazz 2-3 builds on the work of Foundations classes, including Dances of Africa and Dance Foundations, to develop a better understanding of Jazz dance and rhythms. This class will explore different Jazz styles, including Broadway and Pop. There will be an emphasis on technique, isolations, and specificity, while maintaining individuality in our movements and connection to our fellow dancers.
Mondays 3:50-5:20pm
January 26 – June 1
(No class February 16, April 20, and May 25)
$330 for the full session ($10 performance fee included)
If taking Ballet 2, Modern 2, or Jazz 2-3, participation in two classes or more per week is required at this level (in accordance with individual placement recommendations). Enrollment in Level 2 Ballet, Modern, or Jazz requires placement from Pulse teaching artists and staff.
