Salsa and Bachata (age 18+)

Fridays, July 10-July 31
Beginner Class: 6:00-7:00pm cancelled
Intermediate Class: 6:30-8:00pm
Beginner: In this beginner class, dancers will build confidence and technique through focused work on footwork, body movement, spinning skills, and partner connection. We will also explore Latin dance choreography with an emphasis on timing, and musicality. Expect to learn fun, dance-floor–ready routines that help you move with greater style and control. We will focus on foundational steps and include: basic step, side step, crossed side step, right turn, hesitation left, flare, reversed flare, Suzi Q, and grapevine variations.
Come ready to learn, challenge yourself, and have fun while elevating your social dancing.
Intermediate: In this intermediate class, we will build on your previous experience and introduce more intricate variations, including syncopations, directional changes, layered rhythms, traveling movements, and advanced styling concepts. Dancers will be encouraged to develop greater control, responsiveness to the music, and versatility in both partnered and solo movement.
Designed for dancers with prior Latin dance experience, this class offers the opportunity to deepen your technique, expand your repertoire, and elevate both your social dancing and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.
