WEST AFRICAN AND CARIBBEAN DANCE AND DRUM – All Levels, for ages 14-adult
With Joanne DelCarpine and Kim Waterman
Shake your shoulders, move your hips, play a drum! Drum, dance and song are all components of the traditional rhythms we teach. Learn a drum and percussion rhythm, sing, and then dance! We’ll learn basic moves that tell a story or just celebrate movement! Expect moving across the floor, working with drum breaks and putting together choreography. Join us for community and FUN!

January 11, February 15, March 15, April 12, May 10
All Levels – This class is open to all. Teachers will gauge experience and teach to the level of the group present.
