Adaptive Dance

Open level, Ages 6–9

Students begin to build communication, social, and self-regulation skills through creative movement and dance. Elements of rhythm, creative story play and tumbling are woven into the dance curriculum. Classes focus on body awareness, balance, coordination, rhythm, and spatial relationships while encouraging confidence, cooperation, and joyful participation. Basic dance elements are incorporated throughout. We recognize that age ranges can be restrictive in the adaptive dance community. If you have questions about the best placement for your child, regardless of age, please reach out.
