COMMUNITY MODERN – Intermediate+, for adults, teens 16+ welcome
With Bettina Montano
Drawing from a variety of modern dance traditions and techniques*, this class emphasizes classwork which develops strength, alignment, agility, musicality and versatility of expression. Classes begin with structured improvisation and floor-work, progressing to dynamic and lively phrases in the center and traveling across the floor.
*Classwork may slide into elements of Jazz dance when the mood arises.
Fridays 9:00-10:40 AM
January 9 – May 29
Intermediate+ – Classes marked Intermediate+ are for anyone with previous movement experience in the specific dance style of the class and will serve Intermediate to Advanced movers.
Register for the class by adding to cart and checking out (be sure to update your account details). Pay for this class with Class Passes. Purchase Class Passes 4 for $75 or 10 for $180. Single drop-ins $20 each (only available for purchase in-person at our Front Desk).
