Ages 11–14

The Modern 2 class draws on a variety of Modern techniques and vocabulary. Classes include floorwork, center and traveling phrase work, improvisation and an introduction to partnering. Students continue to focus on alignment, balance, fall and recovery, strengthening and releasing, rhythmic agility and musicality. This class emphasizes a conscientious and supportive group experience in a safe and caring environment, while encouraging dancers to explore new ways of moving and individual expression.

Tuesdays, 4–5:30 p.m.
