Young Choreographers Workshop 2

Take your dance-making to the next level! Building on the space and time fundamentals explored in YCW and throughout the Modern dance curriculum, YCW 2  invites students to play with phrasing, form, and energy while expanding their creative voice, expressive range, and performance skills. Students will explore partnering with guest artist Jovanina Pagano, collaborate with DJs from Beatnest, apply choreography to other styles like Hip Hop, Jazz, and Ballet, make dances specifically for film, and enjoy even more opportunities to perform. Along the way, they will build the collaboration, leadership, and mindset needed to thrive in the Young Choreographers Initiative.

Mondays, 5:45–7:15 p.m.
