Intermediate Flamenco
with Joanne Bockemuehl-Jackson
Ages 12+

This class introduces young dancers to the vibrant world of flamenco. Students will explore rhythmic footwork, graceful arm movements, and coordinated upper body patterns, all while developing a sense of musicality and expression. Weekly lessons will cultivate strength, coordination, confidence, and an appreciation for the art form. Through shared learning and practice, children will experience the joy of flamenco in a supportive and engaging environment.

Important: Students must have flamenco suitable shoes before starting a class. Shoes need a heel. Tap shoes are not suitable for flamenco dance. The instructor recommends Amazon character shoes, Ebay, or Sansha (for kids) Flamencista. Please reach out if you have any questions. We have a variety of used flamenco shoes available at the Front Desk.
